Scott Couvillion
Chief Marketing Officer
Dukky
:
After 13 years working with traditional advertising, Scott came to the conclusion that traditional advertising doesn't work; at least not as well as agencies and CMOs would like. This understanding comes from his experience running national and regional accounts at FCB Worldwide-San Francisco and Temerlin McClain, where he worked with clients such as AT&T Wireless, Taco Bell, Zatarains, Popeyes and various B2B efforts. Most recently at Trumpet, a brand studio in New Orleans, his focus was on the interaction of individuals in communities, both online and offline, and how best to create relationships between them and the brands in their lives through connection planning. This experience helped him guide an infusion of technology to enable consumer participation and accountability into traditional channels that can dramatically improve a brand's relationship with individuals. His claim to fame? He and the UPC code were born on the very same day.
